BFF End of Year Show

BFF is the 2011 Calarts BFA end of year show. While the exhibition showcases student work from this school year, we, the 4th year students, also want to share our special bond as a big design family with our visitors.

Each of my classmates drew elements that represents the program. Afterward Zach Sekuler and I combined all those elements in a flag and silk screen printed the design on canvas. We also made rope ladder to display the flag around the school as a promotion for the show. We also silkscreened 350 pin flags as a giveaway at the show!

With a 10 feet tree standing from the floor to all the way up to the ceiling and various panels, the interior of the exhibition was designed as a tree house. Around the tree, there were four panel sets. Each panel set belonged to a class and we hung their special class photo in a wooden frame on one side and their class year on the other.
